action as each team sounds their own particular African instrument
to signal that they can answer questions based on the village
experience.
TREASURE HUNT
Search for “Magic uKhumbu” - undo the mischief
worked by the Tokeloshe by solving the clues.
TRADITIONAL INGOMA DANCE COMPETITION
Teams are adopted by one of Lesedi’s five villages who
teach each team some basic African dance movements followed
by a dance competition.
POTJIEKOS COMPETITION
Teams are provided with various ingredients to cook a potjie.
The teams then have to prepare their meal and their table
using items provided. Teams are judged on table presentation
and the meal itself.
DRUM CIRCLE
About 60 minutes of interactive drumming, with every participant
receiving their own drum. This teaches rhythm, teamwork and
leadership and is a great icebreaker or fun session.
